Integrated and organic production
We are an entity that stands out for the wide dissemination of integrated and organic production at member farms. We strive daily to promote a model of sustainable agriculture that ensures the conservation and reproduction of natural resources and biodiversity.
Water resource optimization
We adopt measures that ensure optimal management of the water resource through monitoring systems and algorithms that assist its rational use. We promote the continuous improvement of systems, the development of innovative technologies and processes that aim for increasingly efficient irrigation management, including through the development of management packages and technical assistance to member companies.


IN OUR PROCESSING CENTERS
Photovoltaics System
All of our fruit and vegetable plants, our wineries and some secondary facilities are served by photovoltaic systems,
which ensure an energy self-production of 10GWh per year, equal to more than 30% of our total needs.
Thanks to this equipment, climate-altering gas emissions are reduced by 5,000 tons of CO2 equivalent each year, significantly lowering the carbon footprint of Agrintesa’s business on the environment, in the direction of ever greater environmental sustainability.
By-product management
At Agrintesa, we valorize all products from our processing operations: fruit and vegetable by-products unsuitable for marketing in the fresh market are allocated to customers specializing in industrial processing. An alternative way of placing packaged product with difficulties in commercial valorization is through membership in market withdrawal programs, through which fruits and vegetables are distributed to charities.
